Poppy chatters about her day but my attention is caught by a news story. A young woman called Alice has been found dead in the River Walk Hotel, just minutes from our house. I switch the television off, my mind spinning. Alice looks familiar but I can’t work out why.After I put my daughter to bed, I head to our bedroom.
